Being and Making Disciples of Jesus Christ through Missions
As members of God’s family, our mission work is each step we take wherever we are, always remembering we are the voice, the eyes, the ears, the hands, and the feet of Jesus.

We support local, national, and international mission work through our gifts, our prayers, and our presence.

We actively participate in WHEAT, the Western Hanover Emergency Action Team. We annually support the Society of St. Andrew’s, an organization working to overcome hunger in the world. Hunters for the Hungry are also on our annual giving list to assist in providing food from our local hunters to the food banks in the area.

As Methodists we support mission projects in 167 countries, as well as direct support of mission projects within the Ashland District and Virginia Conference.

Approximately one-fourth of our regular members have been an active participant on an international mission trip.

We regularly support the Susana Wesley Instituto in Bogotá, Colombia, in scholarships for their students from pre-school age through high school.
